Birthday Fun, Tropical Storms, and Pelvic Floor EMS—What a Week!
What. A. Week. I’m bursting to share it all with you!
So, Saturday was my birthday (yay me!). Honestly, I’ve stopped counting. Let’s just say I’ve been 38 for... well, a while now. If it ain’t broke, why fix it?
Sunday? Off to Hong Kong. Monday? Pure torture. No sleep, a time zone change that knocked me flat, and a to-do list the size of a skyscraper. But let’s skip to the juicy stuff: Cosmoprof Asia, one of the largest global beauty exhibitions!
Here’s what went down:
- Day 1: Packaging Heaven
I’m already dreaming about 2025 after seeing some seriously next- level ideas. Spoiler: big things are coming! - Day 2: Robots, Red Lights, and Pelvic Floors (Oh My!)
- Witnessed AI doing its thing with the first-ever robotic slimming treatment. Mind-blowing!
- Tried pelvic floor EMS (yes, seriously). It’s a total game- changer and might just be the next big thing in add-on services. Portable solutions? Found!
- After seven years of hunting, I finally found THE ultimate skin analysis system. It’s ordered and en route! Cue the happy dance.
- Red light therapy is gaining traction, but I’m still hunting for something that wows me. Stay tuned.

- Day 3: Storms and Nitrogen Pods
- Tropical Storm Toraji decided to gate-crash the party. Day 3 almost got cancelled, but the exhibition opened at 1 PM. Phew!
- Highlights: an oxygen facial, foot sauna, ear candling (jury’s still out on this one), and discovering a nitrogen facial pod. Intriguing, right? Research mode: activated.

Was the trip worth it? Absolutely.
Do I feel like staying home for the next century? Maybe.
